VDXBanner The University Libraries recently purchased an enterprise-wide site license to VisualDX, a diagnostic clinical decision support tool of over 1,200 pediatric and adult conditions with over 25,000 images.  Physicians can search by diagnosis, build a patient-specific differential, or look up drug-induced adverse reactions by medication.  VisualDx aids in the identification of dermatologic, infectious, genetic, metabolic, nutritional and occupational diseases, benign and malignant growths, drug-induced conditions, and other injuries. LLU’s license to VisualDx includes on-site and remote mobile access. VisualDx Mobile is available as native iPhone, iPad, and Android apps.  Follow these instructions to get the mobile app:

  1. Launch VisualDx while on-site from the Library or the One Portal and click “Get our free app... Learn how" (center of VisualDx homepage) or "Get VisualDx Mobile" (top right of page).
  2. Create your personal username and password as instructed.
  3. Once you have a username and password, you can download the free VisualDx Mobile app on your mobile device from the iTunes Store or from Google Play.
  4. Launch the VisualDx app from your device and sign in using the username and password you created.

Find more detailed information about VisualDX  in the Clinicians' Library User Guide.
