This week in the Del Webb Library first floor renovation project, the campus IT department and HelpDesk have officially moved in. The LLU HelpDesk is now located on the first floor or basement of the library visible from the entry stairs. Areas around the elevators and HelpDesk lobby are open. However, the remainder of the first floor is remaining closed. There was a mistake in ordering the tables for the first floor. Replacement tabletops are on their way but there will be a lot of noise and construction when they are swapped. After the new tabletops are swapped, the library plans to open the rest of the floor to student use. There are still items to complete, such as replacing the skylight, but we will close when that time comes.
