New Names for 9 Specialty Archives Journals from the American Medical Association

The nine specialty Archives Journals published by the American Medical Association in The JAMA Network have changed their names as of January 1, 2013. The journals have been renamed JAMA Dermatology, JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery, JAMA Internal Medicine, JAMA Neurology, JAMA Ophthalmology, JAMA Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, JAMA Pediatrics, JAMA Psychiatry and JAMA Surgery. 

Two of the specialty journals had their new names shortened: the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine has become JAMA Pediatrics and the Archives of General Psychiatry in now known as JAMA Psychiatry.  For a list of old/new names and old/new ISSNs, please visit http://jamanetwork.com/SS/New_ISSNs.aspx.

The University Library has online subscriptions to all of the titles and has print subscriptions to all of them except JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery. The print issues can be found in their new locations following JAMA in the Current Browsing area on the 3rd floor and in the 3rd floor journal stacks.
