On a Sunday in July, the library experienced a flood from a broken pipe on the 4th floor which also effected the the north side of the 3rd floor.

The north side of the third floor was also affected.  Students studying in that area quickly grabbed trashcans to catch the drips and posted a YouTube video of the surprise shower: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GP3oLKydZ5M Luckily, no books were damaged and all floors are still accessible by elevator.  However, the north side of 3rd and 4th floors including the main stairs, stairwell, and restrooms on those floors are currently inaccessible as we work to fix the damage.  Reference and Interlibrary Loan services, and computers on the south side are still available.

Thanks for your patience as we make repairs.  Please ask at the Circulation Desk in the lobby if there is something you need access to and we will do our best to accommodate you.
